Well, all good things must come to an end. Yes we are heading back to Turkey in a few days. We're going up to Wellington for the weekend and then getting on the plane on Monday. We arrive back in Istanbul on Tuesday evening. Please can you guys over there sort out some nice weather, we've gotten used to the sun over here!
Why aren't Turkey and New Zealand closer together? Life would be so much easier then...

Papatya and her Mum and Baba went off on the plane this afternoon. Papatya was so tired by then that she was "out for the count". She has been so many places in such a very short life so far and she has coped with it all magnificently. Her Granny and Grandad in New Zealand will miss her so very very much. She is such a social wee girl - she loves talking to everyone, is interested in everything and is already putting everything she can grasp into her mouth. She will be the only Turkish baby that recognises "Pokarekareana" and I hope her Mum keeps singing it to her until I see her again.
Lots of love to a lovely wee family and a beautiful wee girl with lots of character. We look forward to seeing you again in the not so distant future. xxxxxxx
