Four months old today!!

Yaay, we're back. Here's Papatya this evening. All bright and cheery after a day without her mum... She hardly noticed I'd gone :(

Work went well. Thankfully tomorrow is the last day of the week. At two days it's too long. Guess I'll get used to it soon enough!

Update

I'm hoping I'll manage to sort out our camera problem tomorrow and have some new photos to add.

Papi's doing well the doctor suggested we start giving her some food. She had some apple and peach puree today and was licking her lips for more. Looks hopeful! I am pretty confused about this stage though, so any advice would be welcome.

Papi loved going to sleep in her swing bed. It must be part of that whole thing where she doesn't like to stay still for a moment! 

Back in Turkey

We've made it back safe and sound. I'll try and get some more photos on here. we have a small problem as the charge has run out on the camera and we forgot to get plug converters! We'll sort that out this week. I managed to get the photos we have off the camera and onto the computer, but there seems to be a problem getting them onto the webpage. (or maybe I got too used to mum and dad's ADSL...)

The journey back was fine. Dubai was great, but we didn't have enough time there. We'll have to go back there for a good shopping holiday.

We spent a week in Istanbul with the family and then friends (that's why there's been the big gap in pics).

Papatya today rolled over by herself for the first time! We're pretty sure she remembers home as she hasn't been at all upset at being in a new place like she usually would be.

I'll have another go at uploading some photos tomorrow.

Going home

Well, all good things must come to an end. Yes we are heading back to Turkey in a few days. We're going up to Wellington for the weekend and then getting on the plane on Monday. We arrive back in Istanbul on Tuesday evening. Please can you guys over there sort out some nice weather, we've gotten used to the sun over here!
Why aren't Turkey and New Zealand closer together? Life would be so much easier then...
